Today at church, Randy was being ordained as an Elder. That, in itself, is pretty neat....but what made my heart smile, was that I had decided to take Asher, Ellori and Asa to the 11:00 service to show our support. Due to recent events, Conner and Bailey were not coming. I thought they were sleeping, and had loaded up all the little kids in the Suburban. Just as I was pulling out of the driveway, my phone rang. It was Conner. I answered, "hello"? He said, "Um,...... I'm still here....".
Conner's been the one I've had to persuade to go to curch (probably typical teen stuff). He would complain about going to church, not wanting to get dressed for church, etc...and now when he thought I'd left him on accident (or on purpose), he called to say, "You left me." I love that boy.
